The Clinical Research Facility provides the expertise and infrastructure to support the delivery of clinical trials of new medicines, medical devices and observational type studies.
Semaglutide for People with Obesity and Resistant Hypertension (SUPPORT)
The SUPPORT Trial is investigating the effects of Semaglutide in people living with obesity and resistant hypertension. This clinical trial is being conducted across Ireland, with the Wellcome HRB-CRF at St James’s Hospital, Dublin, serving as the main site. Recruitment of participants is currently ongoing.
