Physiotherapy

The CRF facility houses a purpose-built exercise physiology suite to support trials and studies examining the impact of exercise interventions on disease progression and the impact of disease on fitness levels. These prescribed exercise intervention studies will promote the incorporation of non-pharmacological interventions into treatment strategies/ programmes. The room includes a range of equipment including a treadmill linked to ECG machines and metabolic measurement instruments, exercise bikes, ergonometers and equipment used for measuring body composition.

We run studies across multiple disciplines – oncology, hepatology and gastro-enterology.
