Derval Reidy is the Assistant Director of Nursing, having joined the CRF in July 2013. Derval has worked in Clinical research for a number of years as a research nurse/study coordinator and in the latter years managed large scale Phase 2 clinical trials in South Africa. Derval brings a wealth of experience in terms of managing complicated clinical trials and large patient cohorts.

Derval is a qualified general nurse, holds a degree in Industrial Microbiology from University College Dublin and a MSc in Public Health. Derval is also a working group member of the Irish Research Nurses Network, advocating for the recognition of the importance of Research Nurses in Ireland.
